The website’s UX and UI elements needed to be throughout the website’s entire delivery funnel. Being outdated the website needed to be optimized to be more mobile friendly, the website needed to be redesigned to be responsive and easy to use for customers. Additionally, the checkout required tweaks and customization to improve the functionality of the checkout, so the checkout could convert more customers. Three Islands was looking to create a more polished design, that would reflect the brand and the type of clientele which buys from the clothing line.
The first focus was on the website and the redesign of the website. We designed it from what Three Islands described as their main priorities. Intertwining both best practices with ideas which were given by Three Islands to give a completely unique website design. We worked to make sure that the branding and image of the Three Islands brand were reflected in the site’s design. After the site’s redesign, we then worked to gain business from loyal customers through, email sequences which drastically increased the lifetime values of each customer. Then the site was worked on to ensure complete visibility on all platforms, including Search Engines and Paid Marketing, to increase overall sales and revenue of the company.
To increase both the views and the and traffic of the website we updated the website to contain the product markup, which gave customers to see more information about the product before even clicking on the search engine listing. The result of this work is an increase in more search engine clicks, higher rankings, and increased revenue and sales.
Wanting to redesign the website for a better user experience and a more polish and updated design, according to the latest design trends. We worked with Three Islands to create a compelling and engaging bigcommerce customization that both delivered an updated as well as visually appealing experience for the Three Islands customer base.
We worked with Three Islands to create a system of related products that would help to sell more of the Three Island product line. By implementing the dynamic related products feature Three Islands was able to help customer easily find relevant products increasing impulse buys as well as the average order value of each cart. We included features such as intelligent algorithms for automatic product relation, as well as customize relevant products by customer views or purchases.
Creating this feature allowed Three Islands to unlock hidden revenue. Creating a personalized and perfectly executed abandonment emails, persuaded more customers to purchase from the store. By adding Wishlist capability to the website, Three Island customers were enabled to “save” their favorite items for later. Being a very seasonal line of clothing, with sales peaking around Memorial Day, being able to save items allowed customers to and find favorited quickly when returning to the Three Islands store. Additionally, this feature allowed Three Island mobile shoppers to create their own curated list of favorites to return to later.
By creating a Dynamic Facebook Feed Submission through the bigcommerce app integration, we were able to take advantage of advanced retargeting capabilities to the next level. With integrations for bigcommerce and Facebooks better data targeting, we were able to capitalize on increased targeting, improved click-through rates and better conversion rate at a decreased customer acquisition rate.
With a loyal following, and a large customer base built carefully throughout the years we wanted to take advantage of Three Islands previous customers and create specialized marketing initiatives targeted to them. By creating email campaigns and sequences which focused on creating a lifestyle image and helpful curated looks we were able to increase repeat customer sales by over 600%.
